R. Nickson Interiors is seeking a highly talented and experienced senior level interior designer to join our team in Lakeland, Florida. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in an interior design firm, as well as Autocad Capabilities and a degree from a recognized design institution.

Responsibilities
-Lead the design team in creating and executing innovative and functional interior design solutions that meet the clients needs and preferences.
-Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, budget and style.
-Create detailed design plans, including 2D drawings. 3D and rendering not required.
-Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure the design is executed accurately and on time.
-Stay up to date with the latest design trends, materials and technologies and apply them to design projects as appropriate.
-Mentor entry level designers and interns to develop their skills and knowledge.

-A degree from a recognized design institution.
-At least 5 years of experience working in a design firm.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD and any other relevant design software.
-Strong design skills, including the ability to conceptualize, visualize and communicate design ideas effectively.
-Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
-Strong project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
-Knowledge of building codes, regulations and standards.
-A portfolio that demonstrates a strong design aesthetic, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
