Rees Roberts & Partners is seeking an interior design assistant with experience in high-end residential design. We are looking for candidates with 1-3 years of proven experience in high-end residential interiors. The role is full time and based in Tribeca, with a possibility of some work from home. Overtime is occasionally required to meet project deadlines.

• Preparing for client presentations, working closely with interior designers and other support staff
• Developing quotes, proposals, purchase orders and overseeing the purchasing process
• Project administrating including processing of shop drawings, materials, strike-offs, and CFA’s
• Preparing furniture plans, elevations and detailed furniture drawings
• Producing renderings, layouts and graphic presentations
• Keeping clear and accessible records of design decisions and purchases
• Working closely with senior design team
• Managing meeting notes, project status, and deliverables
• Maintaining client project binders and bins
• Traveling to furniture manufactures to review prototypes and project sites as needed

• 1-3 years professional experience in design & implementation on residential projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Studio Designer and Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge in Sketchup, Rhino or other 3D or rendering software a plus
• Knowledge of furniture, rug, and accessory sourcing
• Strong graphic presentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the immediate design team and studio
